The most commonly sprayed area in a house - nothing insulates concrete better!

THE JOB:  Spray 2" of closed cell spray foam on the concrete walls at least 2' below grade to meet minimum code, or spray the walls full height to maximize energy efficiency and moisture control.

OUR ROLE: We are often asked to spray foam crawlspaces.  Along with box ends, it is the most common area of a building we are asked to spray.  Crawlspaces are usually concrete walls, and when properly applied, spray polyurethane foam bonds well to it and creates a smooth finish.  And with BC Building Code allowing for spray foam to remain exposed in crawlspace applications, spray foam is the simplest and nicest looking finished option - not to mention the obvious energy savings!

CRAWLSPACE INSULATING:  Crawlspace insulation has often been neglected past building practices.  Treating your crawlspace as an exterior space can lead to moisture and heat loss issues.  We always advise pouring a concrete slab on the floor and treating your crawlspace as a living space.  Run heating ducts into the space and insulate the concrete walls with a minimum 2" of 2lb closed cell spray foam, and you have an efficient and well-designed crawlspace.
